Masturbating With ADHD

I’ve recently been overcoming some obstacles with masturbation and just the whole idea that sex doesnt have to end with an orgasm and pleasure can come in many different forms! Oh my god It just makes me happy to know self love and pleasure can be more than what im used to :relaxed: :relaxed: But heres the thang, adhd makes it quite difficult to focus on a sexual idea and going slow creates more time for “boredom”, anyone here have adhd and relate or have tips?

i have ADD and i’ve found that just imagining the entire scenario, start to finish (initiating, foreplay, the actual sex, changing positions, etc.) and anticipating what will come next usually helps me stay on it. it’s like watching my own little personal porn in my head! also taking a moment to stop and take a deep breath and feel everything you’re feeling in your body from head to toe, because sometimes your body can just ignore everything else going on except for what’s going on in your genitals, and taking a minute to focus on everything else can sort of keep you on point.

and to eliminate boredom, why not try something new! try a new position, do some different movements with your hands, use a toy you haven’t used in awhile, touch another part of your body you don’t usually that feels good. changing it up will usually keep you interested and excited for what else will come after!

I’m still in the process of finding out if I’m “actually” ADHD, although it would fucking well explain a lot of my childhood and problems being a grown-up. However, I’ve never had linear sexual fantasies with a clear narrative. My brain works like an internet browser, zipping from one image to another. “Edging” comes kind of naturally to me. I’ve literally been known to keep porn galleries in one of my browser’s tabs, and then bouncing between the porn and say, news articles, while rubbing one off. It extends solo play for quite a while.

But it does kind of make it hard to articulate what my fantasies are to other people, because I don’t have that clean, direct narrative happening in my head. A lot of times, it’s more of a general feeling, instead of a story.

I have ADHD and I also find it hard to focus, I find that smoking the devils lettuce helps me focus so much more on the task at hand :smirk:
