Any recommendations please!
Hello Katy
Vibrators are all fine and good, but eventually you do become desensitized. You can use one too much and become numb, down there. I have used them in the past, and enjoyed them. I currently do not own any, anymore. All I do now days is touch myself. There are so many nerves and erogenous places that you could always find a new hot spot to touch, or massage. I suppose if you’re in a hurry and need a quickie. A vibrator is good.
Oh Yeah ! Welcome to Spectrum. I hope you find what you need.
Hey @Katy13 welcome to the Forum!
I just checked with our resident expert Carly, and she says for the most powerful vibrators that are more compact than a wand, check out in order of power the brands Femmefunn, VeDo, and BMS factory. Here’s a few specific ones I’ve grabbed from our site that I think will fit the bill of what you’re looking for:
-
FemmeFunn Booster Bullet: An upgraded version of the OG, with 20 vibration modes: https://spectrumboutique.com/femmefunn-booster-bullet-powerful-vibrator.html
-
FemmeFunn FFix: A cheaper option, but still plenty of power and lots of fun: FemmeFunn FFIX Powerful Bullet | Spectrum Boutique
-
VeDo Bam mini rechargeable bullet: https://spectrumboutique.com/vedo-bam-mini-rechargeable-silicone-bullet.html
-
VeDo Izzy: I just love the design of this one, plenty of power but I like the shape and also the pinpoint tip for direct stimulation: https://spectrumboutique.com/vedo-izzy-rechargeable-silicone-vibrator.html
Also if you still want a classic wand but something more compact, I’d check out these two mini wands too:
VeDo Wini: https://spectrumboutique.com/vedo-wini-rechargeable-mini-wand-76942-par.html
FemmeFunn Ffix Mini Wand: https://spectrumboutique.com/femmefunn-ffix-mini-wand.html
Actually, the whole desensitizing a vagina thing from using toys is a common myth. While your body can get used to orgasming a specific way if you do it often and can respond to certain positions or ways more quickly, using a vibrator doesn’t desensitize you. Even using it way more than normal in a short period of time would only maybe numb you a bit for a temporary amount of time. Healthline has a great article breaking it down a bit more: Will Using a Vibrator Too Often Desensitize My Clitoris?
Loss of sensitivity can happen for a variety of reasons though, and if so, it’s something checking with your doctor about.
But you’re totally right Wahoo, there are so many nerves and erogenous zones, places folks don’t even think of (earlobes, back of knees for some, curves of neck, stomach) so it’s fun to find those spots too!
